COLORED - YOU or ME

This is just to share a poem written by a fellow human being elsewhere living in the world. Do not know his name also. Based on the comments received thru' this blog and number of telephone calls, just thought of sharing. It is not to hurt anybody. And not to hurt any color. But agree completely as far as the discriminatory nature/attitude is concerned that we are not colored.

"When I born, I Black,

When I grow up, I Black,

When I go in Sun, I Black,

When I scared, I Black,

When I sick, I Black,

And when I die, I still black..

And you White fella,

When you born, you Pink,

When you grow up, you White,

When you go in Sun, you Red,

When you cold, you Blue,

When you scared, you Yellow,

When you sick, you Green,

And when you die, you Gray..

And you calling me Colored?!"

I am really overwhelmed for sharing this award with me and placing me at par with cableshankar, thangamaniprabu like stalwarts. Thanks once again.
One more thing, you are making revolutions by commenting in Tamil on an English blog. Fantastic. Please make a comment on the above post.

  6. Dear Rajesh,
The black flag represents the absence of a flag, and thus stands in opposition to the very notion of nation-states and hierarchical institutions. In that light, the flag can be seen as a rejection of the concept of representation, or the idea that any person or institution can adequately represent a group of individuals.

Black is the color of objects that do not emit or reflect light in any part of the visible spectrum; they absorb all such frequencies of light.

Black is pure. Black is the nature. Black is omnipresent. You shall only be able to hide for some time with light.
